The match-winning flourish came from Nasir Jalil, who smashed an unbeaten 25 off just 10 balls at a strike rate of 250, sealing victory with an over to spare.
Pakistan batted first after winning the toss but were restricted to 150-9 in 20 overs. Mark Cleary starred with the ball for Australia, taking 5-22, while Fawad Alam, Nadeem Javed (24), and Abdul Razzaq (19) offered some resistance. Alam also impressed with the ball, finishing with figures of 2-16.
