Gautam Gambhir, head coach of the Indian cricket team, praised Pakistan’s white-ball captain, Babar Azam.
Talking to former captain Wasim Akram in an online program, Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir also gave some advice to Babar Azam.
He said that Babar Azam does not need to prove anything to anyone; he has such qualities that he can become a batsman of Pakistan, which has not been born yet.
A former Indian cricketer said that Babar Azam has no need for captaincy in league cricket and that winning the PSL will not benefit him.
On the other hand, Sultan of Swing Wasim Akram told Gambhir that he had advised Babar not to captain in league cricket a few years ago.
Wasim Akram said that Babar should play the league, score runs, take the money, go home, and prepare for the next event. Because of captaincy in league cricket, there is extra stress for no reason.
It should be noted that Babar Azam returned to the pavilion at the home ground for the first time in the Rawalpindi Test match of Bangladesh, for which he was criticized by some.
