Pakistan cricket team’s star batsman Babar Azam has crossed an important milestone in Test cricket.
Right-handed batsman Babar Azam has completed 4,000 runs in Test cricket, he crossed this single mile in the first Test against South Africa.
Babar Azam needed only 3 runs to complete 4,000 runs in Test cricket, which he completed on the first day of the Test against South Africa. However, he was dismissed after scoring 4 runs.
The first Test of the series against South Africa is the 56th Test match of Babar Azam’s career.
Babar Azam is the third batsman in the world and the only one from Pakistan to complete 4,000 runs in ODIs, T20Is and Tests.
The first match of the two-Test series between Pakistan and South Africa is being played at the Super Sports Park in Centurion, which is the Boxing Day Test match, in which South Africa won the toss and decided to field.
Pakistan’s batting line-up failed against South Africa and the entire team was bowled out for 211 runs.
South Africa were 82 for 3 at the end of the first day’s play in response to Pakistan’s 211 runs in the first innings of the first Test.
