The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made fans’ entry to the ground free for the remaining two days of the first Test of the Pakistan-Bangladesh Test series.
The decision has been taken considering the weekend, which will allow families and students in maximum numbers to support their cricket stars and watch the match between the two teams.
Spectators must bring their original ID card or B-form to enter the stadium and can join any of the VIP enclosures (Imran Khan and Javed Miandad) (for families only) and premium enclosures (Meeran Bakhsh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanveer). and Yasser Arafat) will be able to watch the action for free.
However, the free entry policy will not apply to PCB Gallery or Platinum Box tickets.
Fans who have already purchased tickets for the fourth and fifth days will be refunded. Tickets purchased online will be automatically refunded to the credit/debit card used for purchase.
Also, for tickets purchased from Express Centres, fans are requested to bring their original ticket to the centre for a refund.
For the fans’ convenience, a free shuttle bus service will run on two routes on match days to facilitate their access to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Route 1 will run from Aviation Ground Rawal Road, Murree Road, to Allama Iqbal Park entrance. In contrast, Route 2 will run from Government Satellite Town College for Boys, Sixth Road, Murree Road to Allama Iqbal Park entrance.
