The Pakistan Cricket Board has released the details of the national men’s team’s home international season 2024-25.
During 2024-25, seven Test matches will be played against Bangladesh, England, and the West Indies at home ground; these Test matches will be played in Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Multan.
During the home international season, Pakistan will also play a tri-nation ODI series for the first time in 21 years. South Africa and New Zealand will participate, and all the matches of the tri-nation ODI series will be played in Multan.
Pakistan will also host the ICC Champions Trophy from February 19 to March 9, and then the team will tour Australia, Zimbabwe and South Africa later this year.
Bangladesh, England, and West Indies cricket authorities have expressed their happiness about coming and playing in Pakistan.
On the other hand, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi said that hosting 12 teams in the home international season reflects the Pakistani nation’s love for cricket and the professionalism of PCB. Pakistan is an important country in the cricket community, and with all member nations and the ICC committed to promoting the game, hosting the ICC Champions Trophy highlights Pakistan’s importance in international cricket.
