The International Cricket Council (ICC) has fined Bangladesh fast bowler Tanzim Hasan Saqib for misbehaving with Nepal captain Rohit Paudel.
The ICC said in a statement on Wednesday that during Nepal’s innings in the T20 World Cup match, Bangladesh pacer Hasan Saqib aggressively advanced towards Rohit Paudel after bowling at the end of the third over and Behaved inappropriately.
Hasan Saqib was found guilty of breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct and was fined 15% of the match fee while admitting his guilt.
Also, one demerit point has been added to Hassan Saqib’s disciplinary record for his first offense in a 24-month period.
