In the qualifier match of the Indian Premier League, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeats Rajasthan Royals by 37 runs.
Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and invited the Sunrisers to bat first.
Sunrisers Hyderabad inning:
Playing first Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 175 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs. From Sunrisers Heinrich Klassen scored 50 runs on 34 balls, apart from this Rahul Tripathi scored 37, Travis Head 34, Abhishek Sharma 12, and Shehbaz Ahmed scored 18 runs.
From Rjastah Royals Trent Boult and Avesh Khan took three wickets each while Sandeep Sharma took two.
Rajasthan Royals:
Chasing the target of 176, Rajasthan lost their first wicket for the loss of 24 runs in the form of Tom Kohler Cadmore who could only score 10 runs. Apart from this captain Sanju Samson scored 10 runs, Riyan Prag 6, Shimron Hetmyer 4, and Rovman Powell scored – runs.
From Sunrisers Hyderabad Shehbaz Ahmed took three wickets, Abhieshek Sharm two while Pat Cummins and T. Natarajan took one wicket each.
The final of the Indian Premier League season (IPL) 2024 will be played on May 26 on Sunday at 7:30 pm (PKT) in M. A. Chidambaram Stadium Chennai.
