Jason Gillespie, head coach of the national team’s red ball format, made a big prediction about former captain Babar Azam.
Speaking to Sky Sports, national team head coach Jason Gillespie called Babar Azam one of the best batters in world cricket.
He said that he couldn’t answer the question regarding his exclusion from the team because he is not a selector, but Babar Azam is the best cricketer, and I am sure he will make a comeback in all three formats soon.
It may be recalled that the former national team captain was ruled out of the series against England due to poor performances and continued failure and was advised to rest.
Babar Azam was unable to cross the mark of 50 or more in 18 consecutive innings.
