Former England all-rounder Moeen Ali has announced he will feature in the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The 38-year-old expressed his excitement about joining the league, praising its reputation for high-quality T20 cricket and competitive teams.
“Playing in Pakistan is always incredible; the quality of cricket is outstanding, and the passion and intensity from the crowd push you to bring your best,” Moeen said. “I’m looking forward to being part of it all and creating some great memories along the way. Ready for another special experience, Insha’Allah!”
Moeen brings extensive experience to the PSL, having played nine matches for Multan Sultans between 2019 and 2021. He has also been a regular in the Indian Premier League, featuring in every edition since 2018 across three different franchises.
He becomes the second high-profile international player to announce participation in the PSL this season, following former South Africa captain Faf du Plessis. Du Plessis recently confirmed his move to the PSL after ending a 14-year IPL career, citing excitement for the league’s energy and talent.
Moeen’s arrival is expected to add experience and firepower to the league, while giving fans another chance to see a global T20 star in action on Pakistani soil.
