Pakistan’s world-famous former leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed has once again joined the Bangladesh cricket team.
According to reports, the former Pakistani spinner will take charge of Bangladesh’s spin bowling coaching in the two-Test series against South Africa.
Bangladesh Cricket Operations Manager Shehryar Nafees said that Mushtaq Ahmed will work with us on a series basis whenever he is available.
It should be noted that earlier, he had also taken charge of the Bangladesh team’s tour to Pakistan in August.
On the other hand, the announcement of the Pakistan cricket team for the white ball series against Australia is expected by next week. This will be done in consultation with the selectors.
According to sources, fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain, who last played an ODI in 2023, has emerged as a strong candidate to join the team for the white-ball series against Australia.
Fast bowler Muhammad Hasnain’s return has been confirmed due to his excellent performance in the recent Champions Cup and President’s Cup. According to sources, all-rounder Aamir Jamal and young wicketkeeper-batsman Haseebullah are also in the eyes of the selection committee, and they may also get a place on the team.
