ICC has confirmed setting up a fan park at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium for the T20 World Cup after which fans will see the Pak-India clash in the T20 World Cup live in Rawalpindi cricket stadium on June 9.
The Pakistan vs India match in the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup will be played in New York on June 9. Fans sitting in Rawalpindi, 11,000 km away from New York, will also be able to enjoy this match.
Including Pakistan, the ICC has announced a record number of Fan Parks to broadcast live matches of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 with 9 live sites in 5 different countries.
The matches of the T20 World Cup 2024 will feature fan parks established by the ICC at various venues including New York City, New Delhi, and Rawalpindi, which will be the most fan parks ever for any ICC World Cup.
The parks will also feature live entertainment such as DJs, food and beverage outlets, and other entertainment activities, making it an unforgettable experience for fans from around the world.
According to the ICC, 10 different fan parks will host the Group A match between Pakistan and India, including Cedar Creek Park in New York, Indira Gandhi Indoor Arena in New Delhi, and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Pakistan.
The Fan Park in Rawalpindi will open for fans 90 minutes before the start of the game and will remain open till 60 minutes after the end of the game.
It should be noted that 55 matches will be played at 9 different locations in the West Indies and America in the T20 World Cup.
