The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced that the remaining matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 will now be held in the United Arab Emirates, following rising military tensions between Pakistan and India.
According to PCB officials, the final eight matches of the tournament will be shifted to Dubai. The board is currently working on rescheduling the fixtures, and the new dates will be revealed in the coming days.
The decision comes in the wake of growing hostility and cross-border aggression from India, which has raised significant security concerns. Sources indicate the move could result in a delay of six to seven days in the league’s original schedule.
Foreign players participating in the league will be transported to the UAE on the earliest available flights. The PCB has also assured fans and stakeholders that it remains fully committed to concluding the tournament within the current month.
This significant shift follows the cancellation of a match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi, which was scheduled to take place in Rawalpindi. The match was called off due to security threats arising from the escalating situation between the two neighbouring countries.
The PCB is now finalizing all logistical arrangements and aims to ensure a smooth and safe conclusion to PSL 10 in the UAE.
