Saud Shakeel, the national team’s vice-captain, completed the fastest 1000 runs in Test cricket.
In the first Test against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi, Saud Shakeel crossed the milestone of 1000 runs in the longer format.
Saud Shakeel became the joint fastest batsman to score 1000 runs for Pakistan along with Saeed Ahmed. He completed 1000 runs in 20 innings; Pakistan’s Saeed Ahmed also scored 1000 runs in 20 innings.
