The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the national squads for the upcoming white-ball series against the West Indies, which includes three T20Is and three ODIs.
The squad will leave for the United States on July 27. The T20I matches are set to take place on July 31, August 2, and August 3, while the ODI series will be played on August 8, 10, and 12.
Mohammad Rizwan has been retained as the ODI captain, with key players such as Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi also making the 15-member squad.
A key highlight for the T20Is is the return of pace trio Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, and Shaheen Afridi. The T20I side will be led by Agha Salman. Players like Abbas Afridi, Salman Irshad, and Ahmed Daniyal, who were part of the squad against Bangladesh, have been left out.
The T20I squad also features Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Khushdil Shah, Hussain Talat, and Mohammad Nawaz. Young talents such as Hasan Nawaz, Saim Ayub, Abrar Ahmed, Sahibzada Farhan, Mohammad Haris, and Sufiyan Muqeem complete the lineup.
For the ODI series, Rizwan will be joined by Babar Azam, Agha Salman, Abdullah Shafique, Fakhar Zaman, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Saim Ayub.
Other notable names in the ODI squad include Hussain Talat, Mohammad Nawaz, Hasan Nawaz, Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Haris, and Sufiyan Muqeem.
