Australia’s Tim David produced a sensational 98 off just 30 balls to guide UAE Bulls to their first Abu Dhabi T10 League title, defeating Aspin Stallions by 80 runs in a one-sided final.
After being put in to bat, Bulls faced early setbacks as James Vince retired hurt and Phil Salt was dismissed for 18 in the third over. From there, David took over the innings, smashing three fours and 12 sixes. He shared an unbeaten 128-run partnership with Rovman Powell, who finished 24* off 20 balls, propelling Bulls to a formidable total of 150-1.
In reply, Stallions, competing in the tournament for the first time, struggled from the start. They were 10-1 after two overs and never recovered, finishing on 70-4. Rahmanullah Gurbaz top-scored for Stallions with 18.
David’s exploits throughout the tournament earned him the leading run-scorer title with 393 runs, while England’s Salt finished second with 256. Australia’s Andrew Tye claimed the most wickets, finishing with 13 scalps.
The Bulls’ comprehensive win highlighted David’s explosive form and power-hitting, cementing him as the standout player of the Abu Dhabi T10 League.
