England’s men’s team will tour Sri Lanka in early 2026 for a white-ball series as part of their preparations for the T20 World Cup. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed the itinerary on Tuesday.
The tour will feature three ODIs on January 22, 24 and 27, followed by three T20Is on January 30, February 1 and February 3. Match venues are yet to be finalised.
The T20I leg will serve as part of England’s build-up to the World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka. England, winners in 2010 and 2022, exited at the semi-final stage in the previous edition played in the West Indies and the USA.
