Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has invited the workers involved in the upgradation of Gaddafi Stadium to watch the Tri-Nation Series match on February 8.
During his detailed visit to Gaddafi Stadium today, Naqvi met with the workers, appreciated their hard work, and acknowledged their efforts in completing the renovation. He assured them that he would personally sit with them to watch the match.
During the visit, the PCB chairman inspected the newly installed seats, various floors, dressing rooms, hospitality boxes, and other upgraded sections of the stadium.
Speaking on the occasion, Naqvi announced that the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium would be inaugurated in the first week of February. He highlighted that, for the first time in Pakistan’s history, a stadium with state-of-the-art international facilities has been developed, ensuring an enhanced experience for both players and cricket fans.
He further praised his team’s relentless efforts in completing what seemed like an impossible task. Emphasizing the importance of the ICC Champions Trophy, he stated that the tournament is a matter of national pride, and Pakistan aims to elevate its global standing by hosting it successfully.
