The Pakistan cricket team has decided to conduct a fitness test for the cricketers before the Test series against Bangladesh.
According to sources, the Test squad players are likely to be called on August 9, while the national cricketers’ fitness test is likely to be held on August 10.
The available players included in the central contract will also be called for the fitness test. The central contract has not been announced yet, but it will be subject to fitness.
Sources say that fitness tests of some available players may be taken earlier. Cricketers will have 5 to 6 different tests, and fitness will be declared as per international standards.
Some players of the Test squad will be fed in the first four-day match against Bangladesh A. Fast bowlers Naseem Shah and Mir Hamza are also likely to be fed.
