The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the schedule for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The tournament will commence on April 11 with defending champions Islamabad United taking on Lahore Qalandars. A total of 34 matches will be played from April 11 to May 18, with Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium hosting 13 games, including the two eliminators and the final.
Before the main event, a special exhibition match is scheduled for April 8 in Peshawar, with participating teams to be confirmed later.
Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including the Qualifier on May 13, while Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five games.
The tournament will feature three double-headers, with two scheduled on weekends and one on the national holiday of May 1.
Karachi Kings, the winners of PSL 5, will begin their campaign on April 12 against last season’s runners-up, Multan Sultans, at the National Bank Stadium.
Multan Sultans, champions of PSL 6, will play their first match in Multan on April 22 against Lahore Qalandars.
Peshawar Zalmi, the 2017 PSL champions, will play five matches at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, while Quetta Gladiators, winners of PSL 4, will feature in five matches at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
