The new chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Jay Shah has reacted after taking office.
In his message on the social networking platform X, the new ICC chairman Jay Shah said that he will work together with the member countries to promote cricket around the world.
In his message, Jay Shah said that he is determined to take cricket to more people, from grassroots to major events.
Jay Shah said that maintaining Test cricket at the top of the game is a priority and women’s cricket will be a core part of our development strategy.
He said that the goal is to take cricket to new heights and inspire the younger generation.
He further said that he would like to thank the member countries for their support.
