Zimbabwe scored the highest Test score in history in the first Test against Afghanistan.
The Afghanistan cricket team is currently on a tour of Zimbabwe, where the first Test of the two-match series between the two teams is underway from December 26.
In this match, Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to bat first against Afghanistan and scored a lot of runs.
The Zimbabwe team was dismissed for 586 runs in the first innings of the Test against Afghanistan. This is the highest total in the history of Zimbabwe’s Test cricket.
Shaun Williams scored 154, Craig Aaron 104 and Brian Bennett 110 runs for the host team.
In response to 586 runs, the Afghanistan team could score 95 runs for the loss of 2 wickets by the end of the second day of play on Friday.
It should be noted that earlier, Zimbabwe had scored 563 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 167 overs against the West Indies in Harare in 2001.
