The International Cricket Council (ICC) delegation has described the security arrangements made by Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025 as satisfactory.
The ICC delegation to visit Pakistan includes ICC Senior Manager Events Sarah Edgar, Event Manager and Champions Trophy Event Lead Aoun Muhammad Zaidi, General Manager Cricket Wasim Khan, Security Manager David Musker and Broadcast Consultant Mansoor Manj.
During the visit to Pakistan, the ICC delegation met Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad to review the Champions Trophy 2025, in which a detailed discussion was held regarding the preparations for the Champions Trophy 2025.
Security arrangements were also discussed in the meeting, during which the ICC delegation expressed satisfaction over the arrangements being made for the Champions Trophy in Karachi and Rawalpindi.
Mohsin Naqvi said that it is an honour to hold the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan; the arrangements are being finalized as per the big tournament, and the players of all the teams will enjoy the game of cricket in a peaceful and safe environment. After the upgrades to the grounds, the facilities will be world-class.
