Batting first, Pakistan’s Saim Ayub was out for 1 run, and Abdullah Shafique was dismissed for 12 runs by Mitchell Starc. Babar Azam was dismissed for 37 runs by Adam Zampa, while Kamran Ghulam was dismissed for 5 runs by Pat Cummins.
Salman Ali Agha was dismissed for 12 runs by Sean Abbott, and captain Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 44 runs by Marnus Labuschagne. Shaheen Shah Afridi was bowled out for 24 runs by Starc, and Irfan Khan was run out for 22 runs.
In response, Pakistani bowlers sent both Australian openers back to the pavilion at a score of 28. Naseem Shah was dismissed for 40 runs by Pat Cummins, and Haris Rauf was dismissed for zero runs by Adam Zampa.
For Pakistan, Haris Rauf took 3 wickets, Shaheen Shah Afridi took 2 wickets, and Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain took 1 wicket each.
On the other hand, Australia’s Josh Inglis scored 49 runs, and Steve Smith scored 44 runs, making them the top scorers. Their 85-run partnership brought the team back into the match.
